The uphill race Storehaugen Opp takes place on Ascension Day every year and starts at the intersection of Skulevegen/Sjukehusvegen at 7 meters above sea level. The course is 3.7 km long and has an average incline of nearly 25%, with a steep ascent towards Storehaugen at 908 meters above sea level. Participants will experience varied terrain and many beautiful viewpoints overlooking Lærdal and towards other mountain peaks. At the top, there is a lovely wooden lavvu and an impeccable view, perfect for both experienced runners and beginners.
